Will 2D tin be the next super material for chip interconnects?
It is hard to believe how many order-of-magnitude jumps in speed technology has gone through in my life alone. But it takes a crazy idea (possibly from a hard working student) to break out of the “and this is as fast as it gets” mindset each time.
